Location
Details
- Adapt a robot and write a program to perform a specific task (to be determined)
There is a robot with a flashlight on it that you need to touch. It is moving slowly about the room (and spinning). Your goal is to write a program to find it and touch the robot. There will be table legs and other stationary items in the room. The robot you are trying to catch will always be moving.
- Each robot will have 3 chances to catch the other robot. They will have 2 minutes to find it and touch it. The robot that has the shortest average time will win.
- To practice, the robot will be set up running around in the lab as you develop. You will be allowed a total of 10 minutes in the lab to test and practice.
- To do this work, you will work with one college student and possible another prospective student as a team. The college student can advise but cannot tough the keyboard. In additional, the college student will be limited in how many specific blocks he/she can dedicate into your program.
